Sparrow Garden Design is a creative studio delivering bespoke outdoor spaces for discerning clients. Their projects demand high-quality visual assets, detailed plans, and constant collaboration between designers, suppliers, and clients. AppSphere has supported them for years — from a major migration to Office 365 to building a secure, scalable cloud workspace that protects sensitive design files while keeping creativity flowing.
The studio’s file storage and communication systems weren’t aligned with the fast-paced, visual nature of their work. Large design files were difficult to share securely, email systems were outdated, and hardware performance was slowing down daily productivity. The team needed a system that worked as seamlessly in the field as it did in the office.
We looked at how the design team worked — from sketching concepts on-site to collaborating with landscapers, contractors, and clients. Security and accessibility were key, as was keeping large visual files organised and easy to retrieve. We developed a migration plan that would modernise communication, storage, and hardware without disrupting ongoing projects.
We migrated the business to Office 365, creating professional business email accounts and enabling secure, multi-device access with multi-factor authentication. We built a cloud-based folder structure designed for a creative workflow, with dedicated spaces for each project, controlled access for collaborators, and the ability to work on files from anywhere. All Apple hardware was upgraded and optimised for graphic-intensive work, and we implemented backup systems to ensure no project asset is ever lost.
