Muir Antiques started with ad-hoc Apple support many years ago. As the relationship developed, AppSphere became deeply integrated into the organisation. We rebuilt their outdated CMS into a flexible Wix platform with custom backup scripts (preventing vendor lock-in), created mobile-first workflows for antique fair life, and automated year-end accounts chaos with Google Sheets and payment integrations. When Stephen (the technical partner) passed away, Ines faced not just grief but running the business alone with no tech knowledge. The old CMS was outdated and incredibly difficult to update. Uploading products required extensive customisation with no consistency, wasting time and creating variable quality across listings. We created a mobile-first workflow: pictures taken at antique fairs → filed in album → automatically in right place on laptop for website and other platforms. Year end accounts chaos was streamlined through Google Sheets automation and online payment system exporting monthly/yearly statements.
